For Earth Day 2024, Corky Kelsey and I spoke with students at French Road Elementary School about drinking water treatment, water resource recovery, and what should be flushed down the toilet. We demonstrated how toilet paper breaks down in the sewage pipes and how make up wipes, personal wipes, tissues, and paper towels clump together to cause pump blockages. Thank you to Ellen Harp and French Road Elementary School for helping to coordinate this opportunity!
