The Residuals and Biosolids Committee’s Mission:To coordinate and promote the topic of residuals and biosolids in all facets of NYWEA activities. The committee shall develop, recommend and assist in conducting programs to optimize the management of residuals and biosolids generated from the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewaters. Legislation and regulations impacting the management of residuals and biosolids on a Regional, State and Federal level shall be monitored by the committee and distributed to the membership as appropriate.​
